
Have
said it before, but roast chicken thighs are an unsung treat. And insanely inexpensive. Even the organic operations practically give them away (some do) as most people want the
cardboard chx breasts only. I start them off in a the pan w/ some butter and herbs for color and to speed them along but this time went OTT and wrapped them in bacon for the oven part. Kind of od'd on them for awhile but now that it is cold out don't mind turning on the oven. #rich.

Nice! Most of the time I cook a whole chicken or turkey, I wrap the whole bird in bacon. Makes for a moist bird, amazing turkey gravy, and you can use the crisp bacon for anything. stuffing(turkey) or crumbled in a salad (chicken) You should try it if you haven't.
